Is Dennis Kucinich (God Help Us) Right (Seriously, God Help Us)? (Headline by John Ridley)
Amazing isn't it about how the winds of understanding change.
First we are lead to believe that Bush is completely incompetent and just one of the worst fools around. Then we are lead to believe that Bush is a chimp with the manners and social graces of a freshmen pledge at some raunchy frat house . . . true but lets go on. Then we are led to believe that he is the brains behind the Patriot Act and associated treasonous documents. Then, well then it goes on and on from there and just for days.
Sounds like Mr. Kucinich has had the real handle on the situation all along. He might not be the most eloquent of men but he seems to have a serious handle on the TRUTH behind the white house (lower case intentional) all along.
One treasonous monkey is about the same as another. Bush, - Cheney. Cheney - Bush. Bush - Cheney. Which to prosecute and impeach or impeach and prosecute? We find ourselves on the Horns of a delima. Both or neither. One or the other? Who is really worth going after?
Certainly the Buck Stops with Bush but the decisions are most likely made by his keeper Dick. Perhaps puppet master would be the better name from Cheney and "Company".
To further the original premise about Impeaching Cheney, I just wonder where Rove falls into the line of command in this parody of Presidency? Cheney, Bush, Rove? Bush, Cheney, Rove? Rove, Cheney, Bush? Rove, Bush, Cheney? Hmmm confusing huh?
Certainly Cheney is willing to hold a coup and make himself the co-president or worse. Historically Gaius Julias Ceasar and Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus had a similar situation which neither of them survived for long.
But in a Triumvir such as it appears we have going now, I must wonder how a triumvar containing these three monsters (Bush, Cheney, Rove) will survive each other? Interesting problem, a problem that Mr. Kucinich hasn't gotten far enough along in his analysis to actually recognize just yet.
So with that said. The issue is not just impeaching any or all of these men, but insuring that none of them stage a false disaster or outright coup de etat that my suspicions tell me has already been in the works for a long time now.
My suspicious nature tells me that the government of "We the People" has a great deal of experience in creating despotic dictatorships to suit our own purposes and needs. But very little experience in overthrowing same when it is in our own Executive Branch of government.
So there in lies the issue. Who, how, when and why. Who do we choose to impeach. How to go about impeaching and indicting. When will this happen and for the Why we must decide soon about that. This also has to be done in the face of a concerted, ongoing control by these men. But it is does seem pretty damned obvious that it will be a real mess when it does happen.

Bread and Circuses
REMEMBER: Rome did themselves in by neglect, indifference, and a crushing arrogance that they could rule the world by power both military and monetary! So I ask the question that I hope other worthies ask themselves. Why shouldn't we become a world Empire? Should we just sit back and enjoy bread & circuses via our Neo-Roman Nascar and Super Bowls? Our hedonistic, plasticized youth culture? Our odd sad acceptance of failure in this our once great Democracy?
Bread and Circuses! One More Time
Oh yea no difference between us and the Romans. But lookout for our modern Caesar, with his incredible drive for total domination of the once great United States, Bush and Company might just pass you up and leave you spinning in the grave.
Et Tu, Brute
Dictators have a way of ending life in fairly severe ways. Look at poor Julius, knifed by his pals in the Senate. Perhaps we live in more enlightened times but with the world in every increasing war, famine and upheaval, those old ways may come again to the most powerful as well as to the lowliest misguided, misbegotten bully in the streets of anywhere on Planet Earth.

Hey there,
Have you seen "Sicko" yet? I just saw it tonight and think you'd like it. I'm trying to decide whether I want to move to France, Canada, or England after seeing the movie. LOL.
