Rape Victims - To Be Raped again by Republican Religious Right!

Leave it to the Republican Right Wing to create some of the most bizarre horror stories of this early 21st Century.

Here is the story in a nutshell: Woman is raped, conceives by her attacker, should have the right to cleanse her body of the forced pregnancy. Right?

Not according to Senator Brownback, nutcase and madman running for Office of President of the United States.

Telling a victimized raped woman that she must bare the child of her attacker is probably one of the most horrible and uncalled for punishments imaginable.

Already traumatized by the rape, now Brownback wants her to love and cherish this unborn result of rape, assault, VILE insult to her human, physical body because 'it is a baby and all life is sacred.' RIGHT!

I am speechless at the audacity of this man Brownback. I suspect that this horrible set of comments will be the death knell for his run for President. I hope that the sanity that really does exist in some Republicans will rear its beaten head and shout this man out of order every time he speaks. Nothing I can say will change anything about this story. He said it. He has to live with the results.

Abortion is the most important personal right of a woman. ALL WOMEN.

Yet men can choose all they wish about their bodies. Shall I get fat, shall I get buffed up, shall I let my hair grow longer, shorter, darker, lighter ad infinitum. Haha shall I get tattooed? Pierced, branded? Never a word said about anything at least that I can think of, about what a man can choose (ultimately) to do to his body.

But let a woman choose to end a biological process in her own body called pregnancy and the world falls on her without hesitation. She is legislated against, excommunicated from religious bodies, ostracized at times from families, society. She can be stoned, beheaded, and treated lower than dog poop by men who can't stand the idea that a woman has a RIGHT to choose abortion. The stigma and being outcast even in America for being loose and a wanton is still part of the American male society.

Brownback is the tip of the Religious Right Madness. That insanidy looks so much like the Muslim Fundamentalists that it is uncanny.

Lets just say it folks, the Right wingers in America have a serious control issue based on their religious and personal beliefs. That issue, simply stated is 'be like me or your wrong'. Nothing less than total mirroring will do for these Fundamentalists.

Religious or secular Fundamentalists are pretty much the same. It has little to do with gender, (women can be Fundies as well folks, big surprise) race, socio-ethnic backgrounds. These type Fundies are found in all strata of society and they want you! to be just like them.

Brownback is just the most recent public Fundie Monster to rear his head and get caught with his brains leaking out.

WOMEN HAVE A RIGHT TO CONTROL THEIR OWN BODIES!

Now for one more comment and I am through.

Late term abortions are fearful things but even that should remain an option despite the fact my guts roll at the thought of late term killing of a 7 or 8 month old child. I am repelled at the thought but on principal I accept the womans right to do this thing and though it is a painful thing I ACCEPT HER RIGHT.
